About
Dear Members of JKCEGA,
Greetings!
I am honored to address you as the President of the Jammu & Kashmir Civil Engineering Graduates Association (JKCEGA) for my second term, following our election on March 9, 2025 and recent oath-taking at the Institution of Engineers, Sonwar
I reaffirm our association’s commitment to working with renewed dedication, greater zeal, and unwavering enthusiasm toward the development of Jammu & Kashmir. Engineers will continue playing a pivotal role in public service and infrastructure development, and we remain steadfast in representing your genuine concerns—especially regarding dignity, pay parity, and timely implementation of the Assured Career Progression (ACP) scheme
As your President, I pledge to advocate for your welfare and ensure that our collective voice is heard at the highest levels of government. Together, we will energize our departments and strengthen unity across engineering cadres to advance our shared mission
Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in our leadership. I remain at your service and stand ready to support you in all endeavors.
With respect and solidarity,
Er. Farooq Ahmad Ganie
President, JKCEGA
It gives me immense pleasure to address all members, colleagues, and well-wishers of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Engineering Graduates Association (JKCEGA). As General Secretary, I feel honored to represent a community that is the backbone of infrastructure development and public welfare in our region.
JKCEGA is more than an association—it is a collective voice for civil engineers across Jammu and Kashmir. Our mission is to unite, empower, and uplift the engineering fraternity through proactive engagement, policy advocacy, and professional development.
A key priority for us is the welfare of engineers, and we are fully committed to working tirelessly for the implementation of Assured Career Progression (ACP), regularisation of services, and timely promotions. These are not mere demands—they are rights that reflect the dedication and service of our engineering community over the years.
We will continue to raise these concerns at appropriate forums and ensure that our engineers receive the recognition, stability, and growth opportunities they truly deserve.
In addition, JKCEGA will remain active in organizing technical seminars, skill-building workshops, and outreach programs that connect academia, professionals, and public institutions. We believe that progress is built on both knowledge and solidarity.
I invite all civil engineering graduates—whether in service, academia, or aspiring professionals—to actively participate and strengthen our association. Your involvement is crucial for building a better future not only for our community but for the entire region.
Let us continue to strive forward—united, resilient, and committed to excellence.
Warm regards,
Er. Irfan Reshi
General Secretary
JKCEGA
